Our Consultants Vinnavadi C Babu Sivakumar (Principal Consultant) & Abhishek Gupta (Senior Petroleum Engineer ) had presented  a paper in “SPE Virtual Workshop Sand Control Management” which was held at Kuala Lumpur from 10th to 12th November, 2020. The topic of the presentation was “Development of an Algorithm to predict outgoing PSD via a Sand Control System using Data Science Approach”.

We take pride in announcing our first commercial version of SandMaster on a successful completion. GOTS would like to thank all operators and experts who contributed in suggesting and enhancing features to deliver a robust sand management system. Version 1 is GOTS first commercial version release of SandMaster

Some added few features in Version 1

  1. Well modelling covering entire facility from subsurface to surface
  2. Improved logics and algorithms to construct a facility of 100 components x10 times faster than Beta version
  3. Improved algorithm in unit conversions

The scope of work consisted of designing of complete ESP system along with equipment specifications from downhole to surface including ESP pump system, cable, surface set-up and energy requirements. The work included not only designing but equipment selection, technical scope of work preparation, technical; evaluation of bids from suppliers and finally technical recommendations. Project was successfully delivered in September 2018

Early 2018, another sub-contracting task was awarded to GOTS for an onshore Indian operator. Scope was to design artificial lift systems for low producing fields . On the basis of field data and past history optimum artificial lift selection was done and for 5 different fields different Artificial lift methods were opted (SRP system, Progressive Cavity pump and Jet pumps). The work included not only designing but equipment selection, technical scope of work preparation, technical; evaluation of bids from suppliers and finally technical recommendations. Project was successfully delivered in May 2018

Early 2017, GOTS was provided sub-contracting for an onshore Sucker rod pumping design system along with support in tendering process. The scope included designing of sucker rod pump designing, surface unit selection and surface facilities recommendation. Further, equipment selection process was done in conjunction with various vendors and multi-disciplinary client team to ensure a full development cycle of designing, selection and procurement. Designing of SRP included rod designing, downhole pump optimizations and surface pumping unit selection. Project was successfully delivered in August 2017
